it's been a long and exhausting day, but as i was watching southpark (season 14, episode 4), it occurred to me that i havent blogged anything today. so here goes...
arjun and i went shoe shopping (again). i love that he's so supportive and willing to do stuff with me even when he's completely exhausted from lack of sleep and overwhelmed with work. we settled on a pair of brown sandals and i wore them for the rest of the day. my left foot really hates me for this torture...
of course, in return, he made me take the midterm he had administered to his calc1 students earlier today. it wasn't a bad exam, but he's evil with tricky questions. EVIL!
the capstone event of the day: the world science festival event -- machover & minsky at the Hayden Planetarium. i havent been there in a few years, but the dome is still so impressive. the program was ok. i thought the moderator was so-so. he interrupted the speakers quite a bit (to move the program along, but still, could've let the man finish). minsky is adorable -- he must be in his 80s and still speaks clearly and makes lively jokes. he graduated from bronx science (my HS's rival school, haha).
and finally, happy birthday to donald. may you have another fulfilling year of... whatever it is you want a fulfilling year of. hehe...
