to be a total geek, i've proposed the idea since before we had our master's orientation (end of sept), but i never got it off the ground. other people have started to latch on the same idea as well. we just dont know where to start with making a club. i've been perusing the master's association for computer science (MACS), which is the master's club for cs. we should model it after this one...
there's another one in the cs department called women in computing (WinC). wow, they have like 3 and we have 0.
there's a general courant one that i barely hear from: courant student organization (CSO).
i joined the listserv fun-at-cims, which is mainly people asking for sublets and selling things. occasionally you get the odd email that's actually related to "fun things," like the last one was paintball.
