the FIOS guy came to my house today and installed new internet! woot, no more disconnects and disruptions! would've been more useful when i was still playing WoW, but o well...

went to join david and his hb group at the park. turns out a lot of ppl were busy and only sze came out to play. so we spent like an hour playing triangles, losing track of the score along the way. david was kicking both our asses anyway. this is sze's second time? and he's not bad at all. quicker learner than me! david louie came by the park and we turned it into a doubles game. we ended up playing two. first game was me and david l vs sze and david. we won =D second game was me and david vs sze and david l. they won. both games were really close. i forget the score of the first one, but the second was 20-21.

had to go to the comprehensive exam workshop at 7 so i left when sze left. he walked me to the nyu bus, which is right in front of the hospital, where he lives (there's a dorm on the right side of the building). i thought it was sweet he made sure i got on the bus and all. he's an interesting guy - graduated from yale, from hawaii, travels, etc.

workshop was a killer. i was learning new concepts rather than reviewing what i should know for this exam! arghhhhhhhh... i am seriously thinking of writing a thesis instead. this test is ridiculous. my mind is not made to memorize these things and then forget them straightaway. i would rather apply what i learned into something.

so i am sooo sore right now. everything on my right side aches. my hand is still really stiff (i could barely write at the workshop). my shoulders ache. my legs hurt from all the running around. BUT it was an awesome workout. i'm going to try to go again next week if the weather is still nice. it is like the middle of october...
